Description
The goal of the Wired for Reading Intervention Intensive Workshop is to move beyond content knowledge and instead focus on therapeutic best practices.
The workshop is geared towards candidates working to become Certified Wired for Reading Specialists. It is also appropriate for interventionists using the Wired for Reading program in clinical and school settings.

There are three prerequisites:
- Recent attendance in the Wired for Reading Introductory Course
- Recent attendance in the Wired for Reading Intermediate Course
- Must be actively using the Wired for Reading program
In this class, participants will learn how to:
- Use the Learning Spiral for lesson planning and problem-solving
- Handle errors and guide students to self-monitor and self-correct
- Make pacing decisions and differentiate the program for different age and skill levels
- Provide a fun and safe learning environment to reduce anxiety and increase self confidence
This class has a maximum of a 12:1 participant to instructor ratio.
Optional: 6 Washington State clock hours at $3 per clock hour.

Saturday 9am-2pm
There will be a 15-minute break in the morning and a 45-minute break for lunch. - Tuition: $425
*Includes materials - Late Fee: $25 will be assessed if tuition received after tuition due date.
